Kevin Kew
Kevin Kew is an accomplished and enterprising leader who leverages 20+ years of domestic and international experience in developing high-impact strategic alliances and worldwide channel programs for the high-tech industry. Passionate about building and inspiring high-performance teams empowered to lead change and deliver results, Kew is currently Chief Information Officer for the Anthony H. Kruse Foundation. He is additionally responsible for early-stage investment opportunities that can assist the Foundation in growing its endowment.
Prior to the Foundation, Kew was Vice President of Business Development for Nuance Communications, Inc., a Menlo Park-based software provider of enterprise-class voice automation and customer self-service solutions. During his time at Nuance, he successfully led an inspired turnaround in the company’s strategic 3rd party initiatives, market development, and customer approach strategies. Just prior to his departure, Kew was awarded the CEO Award for his efforts in leading a highly-complex company merger and integration with ScanSoft, Inc.
Kew has also served in a variety of global marketing and channel related sales functions including as Vice President, Global Alliances at MatrixOne (acquired by Dassault Systems), a leader in delivering collaborative product lifecycle management (PLM) software solutions; Vice President, Worldwide Channel Marketing for Genesys Telecommunications (acquired by Alcatel), provider of enterprise-class contact center solutions, and a variety of executive positions in the U.S., London and South Africa while at Sequent Computer Systems (acquired by IBM), a supplier of high-end, Intel-based UNIX servers.
A husband and father of two adult children and now residing in Kansas City, Missouri, Kew received an undergraduate business degree from the University of Iowa with a double major in Management Information Systems and Industrial Administration with a minor in Operations Research. Kew is a board member of Peak8 Solutions and is also actively involved in The Q Fund, his wife’s 501(c)(3) non-profit providing sustainable education solutions for vulnerable children in Africa.
