Culture
At Brainpark we value the unique contribution of people. We hire smart, self-aware, experienced people who like working together. We have no rock stars but rather a team of people committed to learning from diverse opinions. Our team is ambitious, self-motivated and demonstrates genuine community through love of service and belief in one another. We are aware that profitability is necessary for long term sustainability and innovation and are convinced that the best way to achieve and hold that state is to promote a culture of character. At Brainpark: Character = Success.

Our team is committed to collaborative and creative problem solving. When new employees join, it is often, at first, a challenge for them to accept the amount of dialogue and team ownership of issues and ideas. But over time we see more people seeking out responsibility and becoming more self-directed to accomplish company goals. We do not have a recognition and rewards program as we believe that the satisfaction of doing a good job is what truly motivates.
The leadership team at Brainpark takes seriously the responsibility to create an effective work environment that draws out the best of the team. Their role on a day-to-day basis is to facilitate the collective intelligence and shared ownership of the product and company while encouraging a self-managing culture. We do not have policies like “Casual Friday” as we believe that people can deduce how to dress themselves when they show up to work.
“We are aware that profitability is necessary for long term sustainability and innovation and are convinced that the best way to achieve and hold that state is to promote a culture of character.”
Brainpark is a transparent organization where we have access and opportunity to learn from each other’s work. Decision making is a shared process and rarely does any one person force an opinion without significant dialogue with others. Brainpark is a company for thinkers and pragmatists. We wrestle with complexity and revel in simplicity. We like to learn by doing and are willing to make mistakes. When we fail, we try again and again until our customers gain great value from what we create and say thanks.
